Delete Your Account and Data
You can delete your AstroHand account and the data attached to it at any time. You do not need to contact support first, and you do not need to give a reason. There are two ways to do it — either one works.
Option 1 — From inside the app (fastest)
- Open the AstroHand app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap 🗑️ Delete my account.
- Confirm when asked.
Your account and readings are removed straight away, and you are signed out.
Option 2 — By email
If you have uninstalled the app, or you cannot sign in, send us a deletion request from the email address you signed up with. Write “Delete my account” in the subject line so we can act on it quickly.

What is deleted

What is kept, and why
Records of payments you have made — invoices and transaction records — are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep them. These are financial records, not astrology data, and they are not used to identify you inside the app after deletion. Payments themselves are processed by Razorpay under its own retention rules.
We may also keep a minimal record that a deletion request was made and completed, so we can show that we acted on it.
Things worth knowing before you delete
- Deletion is permanent. Saved readings cannot be recovered afterwards.
- An active subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account. If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel it in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, otherwise billing continues.
- Unused report credits are lost. If you have paid for a report and not used it, download it before you delete.
- You can create a new account later with the same email address, but it will start empty.
